Community morning: parenting with mindfulness and compassion

Come and join our mindful morning at Tarner Family Hub, Ivory Place in central Brighton, for parents and children together, which will include creative play, mindfulness and some fun!

This will be an open morning where you will experience some mindful activities and explore aspects of mindfulness as a way to support your parenting.

We accept that, as parents, there may be many challenges, as well as some joyful moments, along the way.

Our themes for this morning and our subsequent evening sessions (see below) will be:

· How to introduce pauses in the middle of busy parenting life.

· Bringing mindfulness into our relationships

· Repairing and resetting when there are challenges

· Inviting Compassion and Self-Compassion

· Opening to Joy and appreciation

The morning session will include:

· Short guided meditations (suitable for adults and children)

· Gentle movement

· Conversations with other parents.

· Arts and Craft activities.

· Toys and play equipment provided.

· Some tea and snacks!

These sessions are intended to be inclusive and welcoming to all parents (or others caring for young children), particularly those of younger children: babies, pre-school, and primary aged.

Book up for all three (or any one of the three) online evening sessions for parents to deepen your ‘mindful parenting’ following our morning.

The cost is £7 per session or £15 for all 3 if you book on the community morning.

This intro session is a free event - however donations are welcome.
